Our Executive Director
Kevin Brown is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in organizational strategy, policy development, and operational management. Kevin's career took him to senior positions at the U.S. Department of Transportation, the State Department, and the Department of Defense. Over six transformative years, he developed expertise in addressing the rising threats of disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda, particularly their effects within social media environments. After his work in government, Kevin served as a Senior Advisor for a global non-profit spearheading U.S.-based initiatives to combat disinformation, promote tech accountability, and advance the health of the global information ecosystem.
Previously, Kevin served as the Executive Director of a congressional commission evaluating sports systems in the United States. He began his career working on electoral campaigns and spent four years with Organizing for America, leading strategic engagement on a wide range of issue advocacy initiatives. With a proven track record navigating complex systems, Kevin excels in strategic engagement, aligning diverse stakeholder interests, advancing innovative policies, and driving impactful change. Kevin holds a Master’s Degree in Global Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
